Award Winner - Half Hollow Hills Central School District

Congratulations to the Half Hollow Hills Central School District in Dix Hills, New York, for being selected to receive the eBoards of Excellence Award! The district eBoards received over 300,000 hits last year and almost 200,000 hits so far this year.

In the Half Hollow Hills School District teachers and administrators work every day to maximize the achievement of all students. A key component of this endeavor is communication, communication that connects students, parents and teachers.

We have found that eBoard is the perfect tool to facilitate this communication. It is an easy to learn, easy to use product that enables teachers to post homework assignments, share and celebrate student work, post electronic forms, worksheets, guide sheets, share useful Internet links to support curriculum and research, and share pictures of class “happenings”.

At Half Hollow Hills we are privileged to build futures one child at a time. eBoard is a critical component of this process.

Gary is using his eBoard for both class related and extra-curricular materials. He has linked a number of eBoards because he is including MANY attachments. As the Chorus Teacher and musical director of the school plays, he attaches lyrics and MP3 files for musical works the students will be performing in school concerts and school theater productions.
